**If these names are not valuable, then it will cost you nothing to drop them and use a different name (like the Dr Jones Shot, or just platelet-rich plasma shot).
**If these names ARE valuable, then you will understand why I must protect those who have contributed and continue to contribute to the building and maintenance of that reputation. I coined these words to imply the procedures I invented and will protect those who have invested in ongoing research & marketing–even if it means spending money and making enemies.

   Thank you very much for your integrity! Some physicians don’t seem to understand that intellectual property is still property and to use it without paying is stealing. Your agreeing to cease use of the names means that you’re a person of integrity who just didn’t know these names are privately owned and didn’t know that these names were intended to indicate a specific method of delivering these procedures (service mark).

   Please send an email to the following address. Put this in the subject…”I will remove use of your trademarked names in verbal, written, and online marketing.”

2. Cease us of all of the above mentioned names–including online (we give you 14 days to have all web materials removed), in the office, and on the phone. I am obligated by law to our paying licensees (all part of the Cellular Medicine Association) to follow up and make sure that you comply. It makes them very upset when providers reap the benefits of our 8 years of research and marketing and quality control–without contributing to our group.
   NOTE: Saying that you’re “doing a procedure ‘like the vampire facelift'” is also confusing to patients and is also not allowed under the law.
