Thank you guys for being on the call tonight. I had a question come up twice this week and it’s one we’ve talked about here on the webinar a few times, but I thought the answer needed reviewing and it needs an update. And here’s the question, “Google has blocked our entire website from any online advertising because of Botox and any PRP or vampire procedures. If you know a way around this, please let us know as we are desperately needful of new clients. And Google ads are a good way for us to get that. We have gotten hardly any business the last year and have not done a single Vampire Facelift® procedure in the year. And it’s been months since we’ve done an O-Shot® or a P-Shot® or anything. I’m open to advice and suggestions.”
So I want to come back to this question and I promise you there is an answer. Not only is there an answer, there’s an answer that if followed will create raving fans and extra zeros in the bank account, noticeably so. Which is what we want, as physicians we want to make people well to the point to where it just feels like it was worth all the sacrifice to go become a doctor. And we want to be rewarded with it so we can take care of our family. So when I get these emails, it breaks my heart because I know the answer’s simple and it’s actually less expensive than what’s being tried. So we’ll go through it. I want to look… We’ll come back to that. I want to look at a couple of research papers that came to my attention. Again, just to remind you guys, when we do these, my goal is to somehow get you guys to telling me what you know. I don’t want it to be me teaching you something that only I’m thinking or dictating the way we should all be thinking.
I like to be a facilitator of discussion and smart people talking with each other. And that can be us on a call, it can also be us talking about what others have talked about in the research. But I would almost have to be stupid to not benefit in some way and have something to share with you guys, since I have the great privilege of having 4,000 doctors and nurse practitioners reporting to me. Those people in our group reporting to me when they see something wonderful or when they see something not wonderful. And then I have the blessing of having thought about these procedures now for a decade and read the research as it’s developed. So I would have to be almost stupid and not have noticed something on a weekly basis. And I’d like to share that with you, but I hope you guys will jump in and tell me what you might think from what you’re seeing in your practice.
Application of Stem Cells in Human Erectile Dysfunction
All right, so first of all, this came out and it’s a nice review.
Siregar S, Novesar AR, Mustafa A. Application of Stem Cell in Human Erectile Dysfunction – A Systematic Review. RRU. 2022;Volume 14:379-388. doi:10.2147/RRU.S376556
I know as you guys if you hear me talk for more than 20 minutes, I warn people be careful because the FDA is not playing. They have decided that stem cells are a drug and we should not be doing or advertising them, unless we are doing them under the umbrella of RB protocol as you would with any other drug. But this came out in October and some people in our group are not under the umbrella of the FDA.
But even those of us who are here in the United States, we have a lot to learn I think from the stem cell research because indirectly we are also doing stem cell therapies. And that’s the way I explain to patients. So I’ll flip over here for a second and show you… I’m almost embarrassed to show you that I actually did a tweet because it is not something that I spend a lot of time doing.
But I want just to show you how I talk about it when I see something come out about stem cells. PRP activates men’s own stem cells and falls within FDA guidelines. And then I have a link to this same research, and I don’t think that’s playing semantics. It’s just basic science of what we’re doing. So it isn’t the sort of semantics your teenager does or a grown person does when they’re trying to wiggle out of taking responsibility for something. It’s really what we’re doing. The PRP, the way I explain it to patients so that you can have the same communication with yours, is that when the platelets release their cytokines and growth factors, there’s an activation of both local potent stem cells to regenerate new healthier tissue. But there’s also the cytokines that recruit and activate stem cells that might lie dormant in the bone marrow. So we are doing stem cell therapy and the way I present it to patients is that we don’t really know which way of doing it is the most effective.
And there are a few studies starting to come out. But if as far as demonstrating risk benefit with stem cells winning in that question as in with a particular procedure, first of all it may vary from procedure to procedure. And from patient to patient depending on their comorbidities in the etiology of the problem we’re treating. So there’s so many multiple variables. \
And when I talk to people who do both, I get mixed reviews. So when I speak with physicians who are in places where they can still do stem cell therapies or physicians in the US who have been involved in research, I get mixed reviews. Some of them have told me, yes, the stem cells seem to work better. Others have told me it takes longer to do the actual stem cell therapies. And in the end, I can’t tell anecdotally in my practice that I’m getting any better results than when I just do PRP.
The answer is not known which might work the best, but the end biochemical result the actual action is the same. They’re both stem cell therapies. We’re just indirectly activating and recruiting stem cells with our PRP, so that’s how I explain to patients. And a simple little line or two I just showed you like I’m in that little tweet, is that could be expanded into a sentence or two, put into an email with a link to this. And your patients may run off to Mexico or wherever they can find a stem cell therapy being harvested by more than minimal manipulation. And they may not, they may come get your P-Shot®.
Whatever that patient might do, we don’t really know what the best is. But anyway, so here’s the results of this study. They reviewed 318 articles. And I wonder if you can see this, came out last month in October, of 2022. So they reviewed all those articles and as always they found a certain number that met their criterion and others that don’t. And the conclusion was as you might expect, stem cell therapy seemed to work for erectile dysfunction. But we don’t have enough data to say everyone needs to be doing it.
I honestly don’t know where that line is, where does that line? It’s so nebulous. My fear is that the line happens when insurance finally says, “Okay, we will pay for this therapy.”
It seems to be gradually seeping into the minds of most physicians that the end point of something going from unacceptable to acceptable, is the point at which insurance decides it’s acceptable and starts to pay for it.
I don’t really know what to say or do about that except to acknowledge that it’s how most of our colleagues think.
And we should always be thinking, “Well, why is insurance deciding not to pay for this or for that?”
But I think in the end, we have to make our own conclusions. And what matters more to us is what does the research say. And how does it put us in standing with our medical boards and the three letter people like the FDA and the DEA and the IRS, all those people need to be kept happy. So you have this, this is a free article. So you’re not stealing to download everything I’ve put there in the handout box.
Treatment of Hair Loss Due to COVID
This one I wanted to bring up. We talked about it and I’m not going to delve into it. But I actually saw a patient today who came in for a Vampire Facial® due to some wrinkles beneath her eyes. Amazingly young looking for her age, but just mentioned to me that she had lost hair in the frontal region after having COVID and asked if I could help with that.
Gentile P. Preliminary Investigation on Micro-Needling with Low-Level LED Therapy and Growth Factors in Hair Loss Related to COVID-19. J Clin Med. 2022;11(19):5760. doi:10.3390/jcm11195760
Well, I had this paper and others now showing that PRP actually does help with hair loss after COVID 19. And of course we have multiple papers before COVID came around showing that PRP helps with hair loss. So I just injected the frontal area today after doing her Vampire Facial®, and I was reminded of this and because of this one, this just came out, I thought this might be a nice combo for an email communication to your people in that here’s a nice… It’s not written by a physician, but it’s I think a very intelligent review of some of the more recent articles that have come out regarding… You can see this is a recent review article by a smart woman who puts together some of the ideas recently published regarding how COVID is causing erectile dysfunction.
Months ago, we reviewed an article where they actually looked in the penis of people who died from COVID and were able to demonstrate the virus.
And there’s a couple of papers now out correlating COVID-19 with Peyronie’s disease. And quite a number now talking about ED and long COVID and lasting longer than three months. And so this one, and this is the new one I’m bringing to you tonight that I think has written a nice combination of scholarship, yet talking so that your patients could understand the idea behind it even if they’re not a physician.
So you could send this out along with this idea about hair loss, a link to those two or posted to your Facebook page saying, COVID 19 is still with us, even if you’ve lived through it’s still with many of us with the long term effects. So if you have hair loss or if you are still struggling with erectile dysfunction, we could have an answer for you.
So give us a call, a very simple two or three lines like that, educating your people. And to me that is the best of quote marketing because it’s truly just letting your patients know what it is that you know.
Otherwise, they go around maybe they haven’t thought about the fact that their erectile dysfunction appeared soon after or during COVID. Or that their hair loss also correlates temporally to their COVID infection. S
o all these papers are in your handout box and I hope you’ll use them both to educate yourself and your patients. And hopefully it leads to something that is helpful to you.
So here’s the one about microneedling and PRP for hair loss. Here’s the one about stem cells for erectile dysfunction and all these are in your handout. This is the one that just came out regarding erectile dysfunction in long COVID.
Really nice review article that I would share with your people. And then I also included this one that we discussed already and this one we discussed a few months ago, so that you can share those with your people. All right, let me see if there’s any questions, if not, I want to get to the idea of what to do instead of Google Click ads. Let me see if anyone has a comment or a question. Don’t see one. So let’s go over to this Google click ads.
What to Do about Google’s Policy of Blocking Ads about PRP?
Here’s the question. Blocked our entire website from any online advertising because of Botox and any PRP or Vampire procedures. About… Let’s see, it was probably 2000, around 2003 through 2004 the top month I spent was $35,000 on Google Click ads. But that was when they were five and 10 cents a piece for some of the high demand names. And I actually had a campaign put together for me with consultants from Google. So they had people that would help you put together your campaign, all these different keywords.
And it was all about selling my book, Anytime…for as Long as You Want: Strength, Genius, Libido, & Erection by Integrative Sex Transmutation, that many of you have seen, which was a lead generator for my medical practice. And the book was very simply written and not even well edited, was originally handed out in a three ring binder but it… Oh, let’s see if I can pull it up for you, but it works and it really works well to help men with their erectile function. I’ll show it to you.
And so I sold the heck out of it and it stayed at the top number one sex book on Amazon for over a year. Of course, I was pushing it like crazy with my Google Click ads. But it was bringing me patients that because of the patients made it profitable, even though I was losing money on the book on a monthly basis, I was making money from the patients who came to see me. And gave away as PDF files many more than what were sold.
You can Google this and find it for free. I don’t even have it on Amazon anymore (used copies are sold there, usually for an outrageous amount). You can see they’re selling used copies of it, but you can Google it and find out PDF copies of it for free.
When Google Banned My Book
And then Google decided that just out of the blue one day after years, probably three years of me selling it, that the title was… Can’t remember how they worded it, but basically it was an impossible title. There was no way the book could be doing what the title promised.
In other words, it was false advertising after years of me selling it. And actually everything on that list (in the titles) could be done by just going for a walk five miles a day. You could increase your strength, your intelligence, your libido and your erections just by going for a walk. And I have research to back all that up and nothing works for everybody. But the research would show that just that (25 miles a week on foot) accomplish those purposes.
Of course, there’s much more in there but the point is they just one day became the ethics police and decided my whole title was a lie. And killed not just the ad for this book, they killed my whole ad account which was driving traffic to other parts of my business as well.
So I fiddled with it and thought, well, okay, let me figure out something else. And I actually… I’m embarrassed to say, brought up another account using a different name, just a different version of my name, different credit card and all that.
And that ran for a while and then they killed that (as the ethics police). And it was never anything that was illegal. It was all about just them deciding that what I was doing was not… They became the ethics police. Now, as another example of that, I’m getting to the answer but I want you to look at this. Let me show you something else here. If you just Google the policy for advertising PRP, and I’ll put this link in the chat box.
They’ve decided that Google experimental medical treatments has been updated to clarify that ads for cell or gene therapies are not tolerated. In other words, they’re deciding what experimental is. And at some point PRP was not thought to be experimental but then it became experimental. After a decade of it being used by dentists and orthopedic surgeons, it became e”xperimental” according to Google.
Maybe it’s coincidental, maybe it isn’t. But what I noticed was they’d made this decision right after those two people caught HIV from non-licensed Vampire Facial® providers. Probably most of you guys know this, but I’ll pull it up for you anyway, HIV Rolling Stone. Okay, this is where Rolling Stone interviewed me about it, because as soon as it happened I put out some stuff to make sure people knew that this happened by people not in our group.
This is part of the reason we have our group, so people know how to find providers who understand how to handle blood. And they’re not showing up getting procedures from those who are not qualified. So you can see I was able to get this quote in here, and because of that we actually started seeing more patients. And I would never ever…
For sure I say this every time we talk about this because it’s absolutely imperative that we always know this and follow this rule. “We never, ever intentionally prosper or try to prosper from tragedy. “
So I never use tragedy to try to make a buck ever. And as a matter of fact, I will try to keep from making a buck even if tragedy would somehow make an opportunity for us to make a buck. On the other hand, we have to take up for our group and I had to let people know that if someone goes to a provider of PRP to get a Vampire Facial® and they’re not in our group, they’re taking a chance
We also compelled JAMA to make the same statement regarding the P-Shot® procedure (click to read)<—
And at the very least they’re seeing someone who doesn’t mind breaking the law because that’s why we have the name, to become some idea about an understanding of proper technique to be able to use the name. All right.
Now, right after this happened (the HIV incident) is when Google started enforcing this policy. And I honestly think it just came down, this is me speculating. But I’m speculating that they let it slide until when this happened. Afterwards, they anticipated lawsuits if they’re somehow playing middleman to a procedure that can go wrong in such a way that people get HIV, even though (when that happened) it was being done by people not the proper hands.
An Internet App Becomes the Arbitrator of What is Good Medicine?
So now you have not a doctor, not even an insurance company, you have a search engine marketing monstrosity deciding which of the things that doctors are doing are experimental and which are not.
If that’s not a freaking tail wagging the dog, I don’t know what is.
But for me, it started way before that happened. After this thing happened with me back more than a decade ago, I looked at Google ads, I saw people lecture about Google ads. People have offered to set up Google ad campaigns for me and show me how they can make it work. But you realize this happened before I came out with my being censored, my whole ad account was crashed before there was a Vampire Facelift®.
The whole organization, the whole thing about the Vampire Facelift® was built not on Google Click ads.
And I used to use a service called Alexa which has gone away. But not the Alexa that sits on your table, but a different Alexa that analyzes websites. And that recently went away. So I don’t have the data right now. But up until a few months ago for the past decade plus, I had good documentation that 80 to 90% of our traffic to our websites was generated by people directly typing the URL into the search engine or clicking on a text or an email. In other words, not through searching on Google and not through Google Ads. And even with that very basic way of spreading the word, the last time I checked all of our websites were getting three to five times the traffic of Botox cosmetic.com with less than a 10th of the number of providers.
The way I like to demonstrate this idea (that word of mouth works better than ads) and I’m to the answer of what you do, but it’s not wrestle with a company that wants to label what you’re doing experimental. I’ll expand upon that a little bit more when it comes to Facebook ads. There you can nail down and I run with people who literally make hundreds of millions of dollars using Facebook ads. I go to their classes, I ask them about their business.
I’m in classes with them and I ask them how they’re doing what they’re doing. And some of them are spending millions per year on their Facebook ads to make tens and hundreds of millions. But they’re advertising stuff that is not… None of them are advertising sex or medical procedures. I’ve just decided a deck…
So anyway, maybe eight years ago, right after it came out with the Vampire stuff, I made two or three attempts to try to play ads on Facebook, account was killed. Same thing with Twitter, killed the account. You can be naked, you can talk about violence, you can incite violence. You can say horrible things to people that are scary and ugly (that drive them to suicide),. but you can’t talk about love making even if you’re a physician. You can’t talk about love making procedures even if you’re a physician.
I think this is not a bad thing. I think it’s a blessing because by being banned by the ads, you realize we’ve built a very strong organization. Okay, we don’t have the 60,000 plus or whatever it is on Botox cosmetic.com, but we’re a hotter item still. And we have an amazing group of people in 50 something countries.
And if you follow what has been shown to work for our group to not need ads, it works. But if you try to bang your head against the pricks, it’s just frustrating. Now, I think I’m in pretty good company here though, because when I talked to some of the OGs in marketing like Dan Kennedy and others who built empires before there was an internet, the internet always made them nervous because they recognized that with the change of policies suddenly your whole business goes away.
A Way Around the Rules (& Why I do NOT Recommend that Way)
Even if you figure out a way around this Google rule and now you’re doing… And there are ways around it, one of them is you can have a page (on a whole separate web site from your site that talks about PRP) that talks about something other than PRP.
You get people to go to that page, you get their email address and then you send them stuff (by email) about the PRP part of your other website). But you’re using ads to get people to that page, that’s your quick workaround if you want to do something like that. You have a separate website that has nothing about PRP on it.
Maybe it’s a website about sexual dysfunction in women but not one word about PRP in it. And you offer a little free book in exchange for an email. Now you can go spend money to your heart’s, just whatever you want. You can spend millions now driving traffic to that website and then when you get their email address, you send them to your website where you talk about your O-Shot® and PRP.
That’s the easiest workaround.
But it’s still open for grabs because at any time Google can decide, okay, well, we don’t even want you talking about sex or we don’t like you because you voted for the wrong person. I don’t know what it is, but I just know that I don’t like to have to think about what I’m going to say.
Probably it was before the Vampire Facelift®, I was doing some work with diabetes and a man offered me a lot of money to buy my whole practice. And he wanted to take it public, what I was doing to start a company, take it public and treat people with type 2 diabetes the way I was doing it.
But he wanted to read every email before I sent it out and everything that I wrote because he didn’t want to give away intellectual properties. And after about a week of it, I just said I can’t play. I can’t write and think and be censored as I’m doing it. So I walked away from it (many millions).
All right, so what’s the real answer?
How do you do this?
Did You Discover Uber with a Google Ad or a Google Search?
Oh, one other example to help you think about it is… And let’s get to how you actually pull this off. Let me just pull up another webpage here. Here, let’s go with this one. First, think about Uber. I’ve only found one person who found out about Uber online.
Everybody I’ve asked about it found about it by word of mouth.
A List of Things to Do, that Bring You Patients Who Need What You Have & Want to Pay You
You Still Have a Website, & You Still Can Rank in the Search Engines
So the first thing I think to think about… Let me just write you out a list. And again, this is not from being some Uber gazillionaire, but this is from having the opportunity to talk to thousands of doctors who have done well with us, and thousands who have not done as well and some who get frustrated and just quit.
So first of all, It’s important to notice that the Google policy is not blocking your website from the search engines. You still have a website, so far the laws have not changed. So thank God we’re not in a country where the powers that be can just take your whole website, or take your company if it starts to make too much money. We’re not in a place like that if you’re in the US.
And so Google they don’t have the power to make your website go away and they do want to be a complete search engine (so you will be in the search engines). They just don’t want to be tangled up in a lawsuit. So anything that they decide is experimental doesn’t matter what you or anybody thinks.
If William Osler could appear back on the planet reincarnated with a halo and say that PRP is wonderful, don’t worry about it. And Google could still block it if they wanted to, and they would if they’re worried about attorneys. That’s what they’re really worried about. They don’t give a rip, in my opinion about what is good medicine.
They’re a company. So it’s not about medicine, it’s not about getting people well, it’s about making money and avoiding lawyers that take the money away. So you get to keep your website, that’s important to remember. And you get to stay on the search engines, and you can even be high on the search engines even if they don’t let you advertise, you can still be high on the search engines. If you’re attracting people to your website and they’re staying there to find the answers to questions after they look for those answers, then you will still rank high on the Google search engine. You just won’t be able to buy ads. This is what I’ve done now for almost two decades, almost exclusively that, not buying ads. All right, so what’s the way around if it’s not an ad, First of all, know that you’re not going to lose your website.
Forget the Other Ads too, Think Like Uber
Next, just forget about Facebook ads and Twitter ads as well. Same thing, talk about sex. Just forget ads and think like Uber.
Think the way Uber thinks. Uber I don’t know if they buy any, maybe they buy Google ads. If they are they’re wasting their money in my opinion because that’s not how you find out about Uber. You find out about Uber through word of mouth.
Use and Amplify Word-of-Mouth
So it’s a thing that people don’t think about but let’s just go through… You guys know how to think about emails, but let’s talk a little bit more about word of mouth because it’s so important and I don’t think I’ve stressed it enough in our meetings.
First of all, you need to be able to believe the person from whose mouth the words are coming. So that speaker needs to have personally… You can finish that sentence, experienced the procedure.
It’s really shocking, notice in this letter there was nothing about, well, we’ve all had it and we’re telling our patients about it but they’re not believing us.
It’s the ads are not working.
The Speaker (from who’s mouth the words are coming) whether that’s the person answering the phone, the doctor, the nurse that might be helping the doctor or the person helping the nurse who’s doing the procedure, everybody that the patient sees or speaks to needs to have personally experienced the procedure if possible.
Now this wouldn’t apply if you’re selling chemotherapy for some horrible cancer, but for our stuff it applies. Imagine trying to market Botox in an office where no one has had Botox. And I think I should probably have talked about this more because it’s so very important, but it seems to be the thing that is often probably the majority of the time not done in the people in the offices where people drop from our group.
Now, if you do this procedure on your staff, in my opinion, you should do wait until the person’s worked with you for a while. You give them the option to not have the procedure done, but I think it’s reasonable to think that their job could be at jeopardy if they don’t have the procedure done because it’s what you do. On the other hand, you really need to get a consent form even on your staff. Unfortunately, now we’re up to two providers who fired their staff person for something to do with stealing, and if they’ll steal one way they’ll steal another. So they fired a staff person for stealing. And then after not before, after the person was fired they decided to report the doctor to a medical board for having done a procedure that they then decide made something not good happen to them.
So you need a consent form and if you smell dishonesty ever, you have to let someone go because you realize if they can steal your creams off your wall out of your cabinet and you fire them, well, they’ll go try to steal a different way through an attorney suing you.
I know of one man who was in our group who fired his billing person who was stealing from him. And then the billing person reported the doctor for some sort of insurance fraud thing. And the doctor because he could demonstrate that it was his employees doing, thought he was going to get a slap on the wrist but he wound up plea bargaining for less prison time. So whenever you smell dishonesty I just think you have to let people go. And before you touch them even if they’re staff, you need to get consent forms.
Okay, my policy has become that I don’t even ask the people to have it, the procedure done. I just start doing it on patients. I offer it to them if they want it and then I watch them. And if it’s a new employee, I won’t even let them have it for the first two or three months, but then I watch them and if they’re not asking for it, if they’re not wanting it by the end, imagine you’re doing Botox and they don’t want it after three months of working for you, well, heck, they don’t like Botox. Get rid of them.
The same thing applies to your other procedures. If they’re not asking for an O-Shot® or a P-Shot® or Vampire Facial® or whatever it is you’re doing after working for you for three months, instead of compelling them to do it, fire them.
That’s my advice.
But even if they’re being sweet until you get a consent form.
Live the Life if You are Going to Ask Your Patients to Pay You to Live the Life
Now, the next thing is just be living the life. I really think that doctors do best if their patients want to be them. If they’re modeling, obviously at 62, my younger patients don’t want to be me at 62. But I think they want to be me when they get to be 62. At least that’s my goal, that they would want to have the same degree of health at 62 as I have. And so look to me for advice, not just because I read some books but because I’m a demonstration of what I’m talking about. And oftentimes I see people who want to skip that part of it.
If you are primarily treating pancreatic cancer then I don’t think this is as important, you’re modeling just let’s keep you out of the grave and help you beat the six month prognosis here.
But if you’re modeling vitality and sexuality and clarity of thinking and a certain way of living that demonstrates some degree of productivity and a peaceful mind, well, I think you have to bring more into the room with you than what you read in a book to be successful at this. And I often see that part lacking as well.
Okay, and can you make up that with lots of Google Click ads? Honestly, I don’t think you really can maybe to some degree. But if you’re buying lots of Google Click ads and let’s say that you’re selling… Well, I don’t have to, you can give me examples, whatever it is you’re offering with those ads. If people come to see you and they see you demonstrating the opposite of your offering then it’s hard to make up for that.
Make it Easy for People to Talk about You
All right, you should be living the life and then when people get well you make it easy for them to talk about you.
I can honestly say that when I get this sort of note which I do occasionally, this is probably a once a month note, but where someone is… I don’t mean the ads part, but where someone is frustrated because they say it’s been months since we’ve done an O-Shot® or a P-Shot® or anything, I’m not sure what anything is. Hopefully they’re taking baths and doing other things in their office and they’re not just a zombie. Anything is kind of scary, but hopefully they’re doing something or they’re going to be broke. But I have never, not once in a decade of teaching this seen anyone who tells me that, who is doing the short list I’m giving you now. Often it’s the clinic that is not doing anything on this list, they had no one in the office has had the procedure. They’re not living the life. And when people do get well, of course they’re not doing many procedures if no one in the office has had it, but when they do occasionally do a procedure they don’t make it easy for the person to talk about them.
The best way to do this is to give the patients who like what you did a brochure or book to “give to anyone whom they think you might could help.”
A separate webpage about every procedure that’s important to you
There needs to be a website or a webpage devoted to the procedure. That even if you don’t want to make it should have on it a video about the procedure. Even if you don’t make it, someone else’s video, some research or links to the research and a way to contact you.
Know the Phone Script & Require Your Staff to Follow It
Then when they contact you, the staff should all know the phone script (it’s on a video , titled “phone script,” on the “marketing page” on the memberships websites) that lives on the websites or they will talk people out of it.
If they’re not following the script I promise you, I don’t have to guess, they will talk people out of the procedures.
If you go to the dashboard and then you click on the marketing page, there’s a video about the script.
Now this script is not how to sell everything in your office. It’s not even a course on sales. Many of you are selling like crazy something else, many of you’re wealthy from doing other things. But for these hard to explain procedures that have to do with sex, so far this is the best thing I’ve found.
So if you go to the marketing page and then scroll down, you’ll see this video about the phone script. So that also applies to people in the office that might ask your staff questions. I would watch it. I would write out this algorithm the way I’ve written it and have it by the phone. I would check to make sure your staff is following it. It’s actually easy.
It means they have to talk less, they explain less and they get the money when they make the appointment.
No one who’s dropped out of our group has ever been following the script as far as I know, and I make a point to ask. I find them as best I can, probably half of them at least I talk with or email them and they’re never doing this script. They’re trying to talk people into things. That is a sure way to frustrate yourself. I never try to talk people into doing things.
All right, so let’s go back to the list and hopefully that’s now on your list of things to do to have your staff watch that video. And alter it if you want to, I’m not saying it’s the end all be all but I think for these procedures that script works well. It’s easy, it’s quick, it’s honest and it gets to the point and it would work for other things that you’re doing. So the staff knows the phone script or it’s written out for them. They at least know to follow this phone script. They might have it memorized.
What to Put in Their Hand
Then as far as making it easy for people to talk with you, I think for $1000 or more procedure it needs to be a book or a brochure that you give to people who inquire or express satisfaction at the procedure. So someone ask about the Vampire Facelift®, you hand them a Vampire Facelift® book.
If you hand 10 people books like that, if you don’t get a new patient I will send you 10 more books. I’ve never seen people hand out 10 books to people who are asking about their facial shape or aging and not get at least one new patient, just no one’s ever told me they did that and did not get a new patient. They certainly haven’t hand out books for months and not gotten a patient. I’ve never seen anybody hand out or heard of anyone who handed out 10 books.
But it’s not just passing them out to anyone, it’s to anyone whom you think can help.
So you look at Ms. Jones and say, hey, Ms. Jones, I can see you’re losing volume in your cheeks. This book has a chapter about fillers in it. If you want, we can do that, but you may want the whole Vampire Facelift®. And you hand them a book and let them go home with it. That is how I’ve sold almost every Vampire Facelift® I’ve done. Some people have come to me through the websites, but most of them, I would say 90% of them have been sold that way by offering the help and letting the book explain it to them.
It can also be a brochure but whatever the physical thing you hand out is, it should have a permanent link to your webpage that we reference in for. And when I say permanent it should be stamped, not a card stuck in the book that falls out. It should be stamped in the cover of the book so that it’s there forever.
Or could be handwritten in like a prescription, but it should be your name, your clinic name, the clinic’s phone number, the email address, and the webpage for that procedure not your main webpage. I think the one for that procedure.
The Magic Sentence, Mantra, that Amplifies Word of Mouth
All right, and then those of you have been through my class know the thing that I tell people, but it’s essentially this sentence. If someone says they benefited from your procedure, you say, “Thank you very much, if you know someone whom you think we could help would you mind giving them this?”
And then you hand them the thing. And if it’s Botox or something that costs less than 1000 bucks, it can be a few cards. I like 10 cards, 10 brochures and three books. That’s the numbers I like to give out. The person will usually keep one book and give away two, and they’ll give away most of the cards.
Amplify the Money Mantra
And then you can tell them that if they tell the person if they just write their name on the back of the card or write their name somewhere in the brochure or in the book, and that you’ll give them 50 bucks off or 100 bucks off to them and to their referral if they come get the thing done.
And that’s really pretty… I could go on and on. We could talk about any one of these things as you can see for a week.
We could talk for a week about how to make a video or you could just go get one and embed it on your page. If someone has the share button on their video, they want you to share it. So find a doctor and a state or a country far away from you that you like, that has a video about your thing and embed that if you’d rather or get one off of our main website, the research.
Ideas for Smart Content for Webpages and Email
All of our websites are constructed the same. So for example, if you go to O-Shot®.info/research, you’ll see the research for the O-Shot®. And if you go to Priapus Shot®.com/research, you’ll see the research about the Priapus Shot®. They’re all constructed that way.
You can link to any one of those papers. Let’s say you wanted to talk about urine incontinence, well, maybe you pull up a page about urine incontinence and link to that. Maybe you’ll just link to the whole page about the research for the whole procedure or everything that it might do. It depends on what you’re talking about.
But the main thing is that you want to appeal, in my opinion with procedures that are relatively new and difficult to explain. you want to appeal to both the person who wants to see what celebrities or people they know have had it, which again, that could just be the doctor or staff that they know. But they may want to click on a link to a celebrity that might have had it, but they might also want to read the research.
Some of them may read all of it with interest in understanding. Others may want to see it and read to the point of not understanding to reassure themselves that there’s something smart behind what they’re doing. But in both cases, a link to the research and a way to contact you.
Email Secret Sauce & Frequency
Then the very last thing and then I’ll stop, emails. So far I just can’t overemphasize how important they are. At least one every two weeks that teaches people about the diseases you want to treat.
It’s satisfying, I can’t even really tell you how satisfying it has been for me over the years to just write little notes about what I’ve noticed about how to be well. And then get not just patients more than I have time for very quickly actually, but replies from people so shocking. I was in a restaurant at the beach and a man walked up to me. I was having dinner and a man walked up to me I didn’t even recognize and he just said, don’t stop doing what you’re doing. And then let me know he is referring to the emails that I right.
And I’m not… You guys read my emails, so you know they’re not… And even though I use Grammarly, the commas might be all crazy and the grammar might be stupid. And right now Grammarly’s telling me I’ve got 14 things I need to change with that, this little note that I’m writing to you. And well, heck, I just don’t always have time to change 14 things or whatever it’s telling me I need to do. But I don’t want to let that stop me from communicating. And yet I have this great soul satisfaction of people whom I’ve never met telling me that they were somehow helped by me just sharing what I’m reading and what I’m thinking about what I’m reading.
You don’t need millions of followers. You just need actually a few hundred that are actually reading what you write, to have a very successful cash practice or a cash part of your insurance practice.
And if you’re not getting my emails, please look in your spam box or call our office because occasionally you should be getting emails from us that give you an email to send out.
Part of the reason for this journal club, which I call journal club for Pearls and Marketing, I’m almost done, give me 30 seconds. But the reason I call it journal club with Pearls and marketing is that the pearls, of course, like we heard from Dr. Heather last week her ideas about peptology. I want you guys to hear scientific pearls that I want to at least bring to your research that I think has been helpful, some of it done by people in our group. But all of it relevant, at least in my opinion to what we’re doing. But I also want to give you marketing, so that if you just attend these weekly meetings and take the one of the two or three marketing tips I might give you and do it, that you see a noticeable increase and sole satisfaction and cash flow the following week.
Let me copy paste this into the chat box and then I think unless there’s any questions, we will call it a night. Let me take this, I copied it, pasting it. I still have a few spots in a upcoming workshop. I’ve kind of quit advertising it and it just occurred to me it’s a month off. But I have an upcoming workshop that I’m doing two days of marketing. It’s for people that I think best for people who’ve been in a group for a while, or already have some success with their practice and want to take it to the next level.
If you’re still trying to build your practice or you’re new to the group, I’d recommend you go through that marketing page that I gave you. And if by the time you do at least three things on that page, you’ll see an improvement in your practice, an increase in your sole satisfaction with your practice, and you will no longer care about Google Click ads. Okay, hope that’s been helpful to you guys. Let me see if there’s questions and we’ll call it a night.
TikTok, Yes or No?
How do I feel about TikTok?
I know that one of the people I do look up to that is in our group, Dr. Miami has made fortunes with his first Snapchat. And he and others who are in the group doing very well, Mark Lowney, others who have a huge following and on social media like TikTok. Maybe this is my personality, it’s like some of you want to live in a city with lots of streets and I’ve lived in cities and the traffic can be almost meditative as much as the sound of the wind, depending on your preference or what you’re used to. But others of you are like me and you want to be able to walk outside naked, and not care because there’s nobody there to see you. The point I’m making is that in the same way…
when I’m doing marketing, I’m there in that space.
So when I’m marketing with email, I’m in the place where I’m writing an intimate communication that maybe going to thousands of people. But I’m writing it truly and honestly as a communication to one person and that’s the space I’m in when I do it. I’m in that place in my mind and it’s what I’m looking at. When I go onto Twitter it feels like when I used to ride near the back seat of the bus where a fight might break out any moment, and the seats had excrements wiped on the back of them. And when I finally made it home, I at least needed a bath from being on the bus if not to wipe my nose from the blood from the fist fight.
So guess what I would end up doing? Walking home most of the time even from elementary school through the… It wasn’t some 10 miles uphill in the snow both ways, but it was a pretty good walk for a little elementary school kid It was about a two and a half mile walk through the woods. And to me that was more interesting. When I go into Twitter, I feel like I’m on the back seat of the bus and like I need a bath when I’m done. So when I tweet, I just jump in and jump out or I have it go out automatically. When I’m going to TikTok, I just feel like whatever IQ I have which I’m sure is not the highest on this call, somehow gets knocked back a few points. And so I don’t really like being there because I feel like to fit in I need to be stupid. Now, it could be… Or more stupid than I am.
It could be that I don’t understand the venue and that just I’m too closed minded. And I say that cautiously because I know some of you maybe and could possibly make millions on that venue, but be there if you want to be there and know there are other ways if you don’t. So jump on it if you like it, have fun with it, play with it. Spend money on ads if you want, dance around, do whatever or not dance and do something serious. But I didn’t mention that, but it does pay when you’re advertising sexual procedures to keep a more conservative persona. But that’s the reason I don’t do it. Probably not the right from a pure money standpoint, but that’s why.
How to Cure a Low Open Rate with Your Email
Low open rate via emails. So the best way I think to deal with that is make sure there’s several… Let me just kind of make a quick list about low open rate.
First of all, what’s low open rates? First of all, if you get a 35% open rate, that’s good. It used to hurt my feelings. Even my mother, I don’t think opens every email. I think she’s still on my email list but I would be very doubtful if she even sees all my emails, even though people look at their emails several times a day. And so it’s constant stream. So 35% is good open rate. Sometimes mine are more, sometimes they’re less but that’s about what I do. A 10% click rate is good. I don’t think either of those numbers happen if to get these rates every email should give away something of value.
If you are giving away answers to people’s pain. It may not even be their pain, it could be but if it’s the pain of anybody they love, they will open.
If it’s their pain or the pain of someone they love and you give them something with every email about how to make their pain better, and not begging them to come get the thing you’re trying to sell, they will start opening your emails. And they will share them with other people and they will complain when you go too long without writing one. And they’ll come up to your table at a restaurant and ask you to keep sending them, even though they don’t read them all, even though they don’t click on most of them but they will read them.
And when you send one out it won’t be, okay, you have 1000 people on your list, so 350 of open it, 100 of them click and you do 50 procedures. No, you’ll send it out and you’ll get a few phone calls and you’ll do one or two procedures that week.
But, if that same email is going to go out every two weeks perpetually. Even though you’re only writing emails every two weeks, you’ll soon have emails going out every day and then it becomes one or two procedures per day that are happening. And that’s part of what I teach in my workshops and it’s part of what we’ll be talking about more. And I go into it in that marketing page that I just showed you (on the membership sites).
It’s something that people have trouble with, that auto responder things seems to slow people down. Or they get it but they don’t think it’s worth doing. But the bottom line, even if you don’t set up the auto responder which I recommend you do, and I’m hopefully coming out with a way that you can just click and have all this set up for you.
I already have a year’s worth of O-Shot® set up where you just import them into your account if you have ONTRAPORT. But I hope to have it set up for all of them sometime after the first of the year, have some new things in the pipeline.
But back to how to get the thing open. I don’t really remember the last time I offered or just sending an email out where the main point of it was to get you to come see me because I was giving you some percentage off. It’s always information.
So Where Does the Money Happen?
The ad could be the thing you’re talking about. Let’s say the email is about erectile dysfunction from COVID. So if I sent you an email that says, hey, COVID can cause ED and here’s a link to the research. And if you think this is affecting someone you love, let us know and see if we can help you.
Well, in that case the email is directly promoting something. It’s using the research or the teaching about the disease to promote the procedure.
But the other way it could work is, let’s say it’s about COVID vaccines and how they… Let’s get off something less political. Let’s talk about childhood obesity or actually I just read an article where I think it’s one in five… No, the number… Anyway, I’m forgetting the stats now. But it’s something like if you’re between 20 and 45, alcohol is up in the top five reasons that if you die that’s going to be one of the top five reasons why you died from alcohol. Alcohol or related problems from alcohol. And I don’t sell rehab, but I could still send that out. And it could be something like, because most of my patients have children and they don’t want them to die.
And some of my patients are in their 20 to 45 year old range, and I know their habits could be possibly making them not as well as they could be. And the very least increasing their risk of trauma. So I could send that out and say, hey, I don’t want to be preachy, but these are numbers worth knowing and sharing with your family. And so I thought you might want to see this. That’s the kind of email that you would send to a loved one.
The Letter You Would Send to Someone You Love
Maybe that’s the key to think about this. If you’re sending emails that you would send to your lover, to your mother, to your wife, to your husband, to your child, if that’s an email that you would send to them about something that is of interest that might help them, then you’re going to have an increasing open rate.
Well, how does that make you money? Okay, I send the email about alcohol and it can be or is one of the top five causes of death in 20 to 45 year old people in the United States.
Hope this helps, please share if you think it might help somebody you know. Here’s a link to the research. Sincerely, my name.
PS, alcohol can also cause erectile dysfunction. You might want to check out the P-Shot® even if you don’t drink. Or it could just be simply PS, check out the P-Shot®.
So if you watch any conservative news channel, you’re going to see whatever the guy’s name is, My Pillow Guy, (Mike Lindel) he’s almost become a caricature because he sold so many freaking pillows. And yet the news is never about pillows, the only commonality is the audience is the same—grown people tend to go from liberal to conservative, grown people have trouble sleeping, people who have trouble sleeping will buy a pillow that gives them “the best sleep of their life.”
So if you want to know who’s buying a magazine, you look at the ad on the back cover. You do the same thing, you deliver the information that’s useful and helpful and entertaining and is the free thing you’re giving is the answer to a pain. I don’t want my children to die. Oh, here’s something that could motivate them to maybe not drink as much. Or PS check out the P-Shot®.
So your ad lives in the P-Shot® that lives in the PS, and it doesn’t have to be directly related to the useful information in your email that solves their problem.
The “something of value” could be information, it could actually be something free like a free PDF file of something that you wrote or someone else wrote. Like I just showed you my little anytime book, give the thing away, I don’t care. I wish a million people would take it and give it away, because there’s links to my website which has links to the P-Shot® which eventually brings them back to you.
It could be a video that someone else made. It could be basically anything you would send of help or of interest to someone you love.
You would never send your mama an email that says, “10% off if you come see me today. Or mama I’m giving a special to you today because it’s coming up on Halloween, so I’m giving you 10% off the Vampire Facelift® today.”
You’d never send that email to your mother and I’ve never sent it to one of my patients.
Now I might send them something, hey, it’s Halloween, and look at this article that was just in Cosmo about the Vampire Facelift®, because blood can help you stay young. And I would share that with my mother because it’s interesting and Cosmo did an article of the Vampire Breast Lift. And so I think you get the point, that’s how you fix it. Hopefully that…
Okay, I’ll make sure that happens. In the meantime you might try just sending them an email and tell them, because I only give it to people in our group. Send an email to the ONTRAPORT support team and tell them that you’re in my group and copy it to me and I’ll make sure it happens. I actually know the people that our business grew up with their business.
And so I know some of the key players and they know us because they know we have smart people and a nice size group. And so they should give you VIP treatment. All right, I hope that was not a waste of time. And I hope I’ve given you something tonight that might help you take better care of your people, and help you find people who need what you have because all you guys are… Look at it, you could be making love to your spouse or watching TV or going for a walk and said you’re trying to figure out how to better care for your people. So hopefully this was of help to you. You guys have a good night.

Thank you, insightful, we will be trying some things and let you know what our responses are like. michael@2rns.com.au. I would have liked a reply from the email that I sent to you. I also saved the url of a Bocox done by butchers. Made me cringe.
